Hardware flag after a FACEIT ban — what actually happens
DiscussionFACEIT closed the account. I have not made another one.
If the client also stored the PC fingerprint, a new account on the same box can get stopped before I play. Is that the hardware flag people mean?

Developer and community repliesA hardware flag is the PC profile, separate from the account penalty. A profile tool can change how that fingerprint is presented. It does not lift the account penalty and it does not promise the next account stays clear. Read status and only continue if you accept that.
Understood. No guarantee. I will read the hardware-profile page before I touch another account.
I treated it as a risk, not a fix. Still on the same PC and still nervous.
